Travel expenses, accommodation, and meals* are NOT included in the training cost.
*A prepared meal vending machine is available at the Cirale reception. Otherwise, meals must be taken outside the center.
Programme
This training will enable the learner to progress in the diagnosis and management of equine locomotor disorders (lameness and performance issues).
Knowledge acquisition will take place during the monitoring of consultations for horses presented in routine and advanced imaging consultations.
Objectifs
- To Master the basics of the physical examination of the horse's locomotor system.
- To Understand the dynamic examination and identify lameness and locomotor disorders related to performance.
- To Know the technique of routine imaging examinations in locomotor pathology (radiography and ultrasound) and be able to interpret the images.
- To Know the indications for advanced imaging examinations (scintigraphy, MRI, and CT scan).

Prérequis
As consultations are held in French, it is preferable that the trainee has a good understanding of French
The application file must include:
- Veterinary doctorate diploma.
- CV and cover letter.

EQUINE
Diplômée de l’Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort en 1998. Internat à la Clinique Equine de l’ENVA, puis internat à la Rochester Equine Clinic, dans le New Hampshire (Etats-Unis). Résidence en Pathologie Locomotrice Equine sous la direction du Pr Jean-Marie Denoix, obtention du DESV (Diplôme d’Etudes Spécialisées Vétérinaires) en Elevage et Pathologie du Cheval, option Biomécanique et Pathologie locomotrice en 2004.
Depuis 2005, Virginie Coudry occupe un poste de Praticien Hospitalier en pathologie locomotrice et imagerie au CIRALE.

Modalités d'admission
- Training open to a maximum of 1 participant.
- Presence from Monday morning to Friday late afternoon, no emergency.
- Appropriate professional attire required: overalls or jacket, suitable shoes.
